Self-Hypnosis Group for Stress Relief
Hypnosis is a collection of methods that enable mind and body to share information effectively. Many of us develop an interest in self-hypnosis because we wish to live a life of greater fulfillment. We have a desire to accomplish certain goals like breaking unwanted habits, or we may have a feeling that there must be a better way to manage stress, feel better about ourselves or more effectively manage our weight.
This group is designed to teach specific ways of entering a self-hypnotic relaxed state of mind as a basis for improved sleep, increased self-awareness, reduced tension and better focus. The group will provide tools and techniques that can be practiced in a safe and gentle environment. Handouts and take home exercises will be provided.

Self-Hypnosis Group for Weight Control and Management
Self Hypnosis has been used as a helpful took for assisting in weight maintenance and control. It can help in reinforcing the development of healthy habits around food, and in nurturing already present reasons and motivations to continue with your healthy lifestyle.
In these meetings, you can learn a number of techniques and tools that can help you to stay on track with your weight control and management efforts. They include aids that help with stress management, self-inductions techniques, and construction of helpful self-hypnotic images and suggestions.
This group is not a substitute for a physician monitored weight loss program and is mean to bolster already existing plans. Six meetings. Screening interview required.
